Rancho Alegre consumes my heart and soul. We are a nonprofit organization that specializes in preserving and promoting and Conjunto music.
We have an online playlist with over 2000 entries, we travel all over the state of Texas interviewing legendary, veteran and up-and-coming Tejano and Conjunto musicians, we present a yearly 3-day Conjunto festival, and much, much more.

Hola,
I am interested in producing music events – for all genres of music. My energy so far has been in trying to do a whole new production effort, from scratch. I have been thinking lately that it might make sense to get involved with a production that has already been going and expand on that. I have been listening to and enjoying Tejano, Conjunto, Norteno, Cumbia and all types of musica del Sur for a long time.
I noticed that the Tejano festival is on hiatus right now. Can you tell me who was producing it and how to contact them? I would like to get together and discuss the possibility of restarting it and even expanding it to include other types of music from the South.
I am an attorney and native Texan for what that’s worth. I have also been watching the growth of music festivals and events in the Austin area for the past 10 – 15 years, and see the potential, just maybe not right in Austin, since it may be saturated and regulated by the City.
Get back to me if you can help me contact the producers. Thanks,
Loel Coleman
